Pacific National's 7106 leads loaded coal train UV03 on the northern missing link line at Norwich Park. 7133 and 7131 were in mid-train DPU capacity.

With the current need for social isolation due to the Covid-19 crisis, I'm now really going to miss winter, ice, snow and short dark days.

There have been no hummers here for a few days now. The females and juveniles have left on their journey south.

Today I've spent much of my day reflecting on the past. I lost my friend and photography mentor a few years ago and today would have been his 73'rd birthday. My visits to Florida are always bittersweet now....filled with wonderful memories of time spent together but forever missing his presence.
Gary once said this to me. These are his words - but I always felt the same way. "If we are lucky in life, sooner or later some one will come along and enter our lives in such a way as to enrich it in a profound way. Someone who is genuine in every sense. You are one of those people...and my life is richer for it!"

Here's Kerri at the Mission Inn in Riverside, taking a photo of a fantastic door. We had such a good day that day, Alex had never been there before and liked all 4 stories of it.
A wild raccoon who seemed comfortable being near humans, she spent many daylight hours hanging out nearby. We were close enough to touch but I never wanted to risk the "arrangement" so I would garden and she would stay busy looking for insects, etc.
Petunia was named for the plant that I hid some kibble and marshmellows in and she loved to find a little treat.
