The Oriental Lily opens a 6 petal bloom that can spread up to 20cm in diameter.
The height of the Oriental Lily can range between 3 to 5 feet.
Oriental Lilies tend to flower outside, in mid-season (July/August).
They are a long lasting and highly scented variety.
Sometimes, they just miss a petal and show us more!
Thank you for your time and comments, greatly appreciated, M, (*_*)

To me, this is the best season to visit Provence….Unfortunately, I can’t go there this year…But, every night, when I lay down on my bed, I smell it thanks to the Lavender Pillow that I’ve got from one of the smallest villages in Provence…. To the memory of my lovely Provence, I initiated a new photo series: Missing Provence. Within that project, every day I will share a photo that I took from my previous trips….to send my regards and love there…to nice people embellishing everything, to lavender soul and to its magic… Here is the 18th one… I miss you Provence… BeNowMeHere, Provence, France, 2015 via 500px bit.ly/2apXKka
Just a friendly reminder that even the wisest among us can have a few missing pieces! Keep calm and carry on, folks!
At the time I didn't realize it was missing a spike. Up close this one looks more like an angry face than a smiley face.

Finnegan has been missing his Dad while he's away on his kitesurfing trip... This is one of Sean's T-shirts I put on Finn to send a note to him with;)
Btw, I've been trying to fill the void of his best friend but even so Finn sits in the window waiting for him to get home...
The partially collapsed, abandoned coal loading jetty at Catherine Hill Bay, NSW. Recent bushfires destroyed the older timber sections of the jetty, leaving only a newer concrete & steel section to connect it to the headland.

Ymir: "Hmm,, maybe.."
Brimir: "What? Where?"
Saku: "Look! I'm a frog prince!"

Alice has been missing since September 11st 2010.
I'm very sad because she used to be here and come the meals.
I'm afraid the fox ate her. I have already lost 3 cats eaten by foxes.
This is the price of the freedom.
I wish you a wonderful weekend my friends and I promise that I will catch up on my comments as soon as possible.

I am working on my old files and stumbled across this picture, taken in June of last year, shortly after I got my Canon 50D. I realized that I don't really see that much of blue sky anymore...and felt little nostalgic.
Summer come back!
Sniff Sniff
Break of dawn...the smell of stale cigarettes and lose spirits spilled on a heavily worn tattered carpet...the sound of over zealous laughter and billiard balls long quieted...with the rays of light casting shadows... desperately trying to giving way to the outlooks of a new day.
These are from the last photo shoot I did before I "quit". I developed/retouched them a couple weeks ago, and I did a photo shoot about a week ago. I'm going to keep shooting photos, but I think this has pushed me to be more genuine. It's hard, but it's what my heart burns for.
And I'd like to extend a sincere and heartfelt Thank-You to all of the people that had inspirational stuff to share in the comments of my "Goodbye" post. It isn't what pulled me back, but it has motivated me to try to accelerate the process and continue sharing.
Every parent knows the time when the children are not children any more and start their own grown-up life. They leave void spaces and an air which is still charged..

During a very rainy, windy and cloudy night last night, this was my only useable image of the many taken.. The storm which was raging toward us had began to split up and strikes were becoming infrequent. Had my camera been panned to the left, i would have captured the full beauty of this strike and would have had been able to create a visual panorama..., as it was, i just have this single image.....Next time :-) #10
last shot from the trip as i am putting the photos onto an external hard drive. now, it is back to client work.
