My minifee Woosoo Mint.
I don't think I have ever shared her here on Flickr but she is my little witch girl :D
Comparison with Melon, Peppermint and MSR.
The first thing I thought when I opened peppermint was "Fresh." She's very pretty! As far as observations go her coloring is cooler than Melon's. I'm Melon's second owner so I'm not sure if her hair color has shifted. My MSR's hair is showing evidence of it in the photo although it's barely perceivable in natural light. Nonetheless, the results of this photo surprised me. To my eye Mint's color is a shade lighter than MSR with a touch of Melon's color. A day time photo will follow soon. It's night here right now.

This is neither mint nor moon. It's actually a hydrangea with a streetlamp in the background. Not quite sure why the lamplight turns pink except that is was dusk and the light was funny.
I've torqued the palette somewhat by using a Cross Process filter in LR, which basically exaggerates the blues as far as I can tell. It's helpful to the composition because it tends to unify all the background bokeh into one colour while isolating the pink of the lamplight further. So - prettier colours but also stronger composition.
The last year of opperation for this beautiful garden. Chilliwack, BC Canada.
My mother, wife and I went for a drive to Minter Gardens, located near Vancouver, BC. An enjoyable time was had by all.

Project 365 07/12/2017: This cat mint plant originated from our backyard neighbor and it's quite aggressive taking over real-estate. They keep coming back despite being pulled off from the root.
