JetBlue Airways Airbus A321-231 N976JT "Mint to Soar" departs Los Angeles (LAX/KLAX) March 18, 2020. Destination Boston as JBU 488.
Perilla frutescens ((L.) Britton, member of the mint family and popular in Asia for culinary applications. I saw this one in Germany (Cochem) and was surprised by the shining colours.
Almost missed seeing this little one. Macro shows it off beautifully. Even the tiniest of moths are beautiful if you take the time to look closely. I was just in the right place at the right time which is how most of my favourite photos come about. 😊
Pyrausta aurata. My first time noticing this small moth. Used Topaz Photo AI to remove some soft focus and noise.

This moth is less than half the size of my little finger nail and so difficult to portray. The daisy it's sitting on is Mexican Fleabane (Erigeron Karvinskianus) and is tiny in itself. It was an opportunity too good to miss as I haven't seen this little moth in my garden before.
I know mint is invasive and all but at this point it's one of the only things willing to grow by the house beside the old lavender bush.
