A simple beetroot and mint salad with a pomegranate dressing, made with few ingredients and whipped up in a matter of minutes. This delightful vegan and vegetarian dish makes a perfect side dish for a quick lunch or salad staple for the summer BBQ season. Find more details on my blog.
This cute little guy is made of chocolate and mint. And therefore didn't stand a chance in my office. Sorry, froggie.

The Osaka Mint Bureau is the head office for Japan's governmental agency which is directly responsible for such tasks as the minting of coin currency. But, perhaps the most intersting feature is that it is home to over 100 different varieties of cherry blossoms. The grounds are supposedly open to the public during weekdays, but when I went there didn't seem to be much going on.
