Last year, we planted a single mint plant. Now, without any effort on our part, we have this herby bulwark - more than enough for a month of lamb and juleps.

Chocolate mint plants (mentha x piperita). Two in red containers bought at Home Depot. Sad skinny one in black container purchased from the Oahu Urban Garden Center's Second Saturday plant sale. Will be transplanted within the coming week. Planning to "pot" one up in a SIP for experiment's sake.
The margarita mint is sending out runners to nowhere. I should cut them off and root them somewhere, I guess.
I love the chocolate colour of this one. The plant itself has chocolate stems and a slight chocolate border on the leaves, but nothing like the leaves on this runner.

Our Chocolate Mint plant - luckily in a single pot and not mixed with any other plants or mints - started showing these orange spots all over it including the leaves. A little internet research shows it to be rust. Comes from the soil, which you're supposed to burn, and is lethal to the plant. Lame.
I love min lolita coordinates. And some people and brands really have the gift of matching it with other amazing colours! For now, I chose black and white, mostly because of the stripes in the dress.
Ah,and you can remove the big black bow if you preffer!

I can't remember the name, but I know it's in the mint family. :-} I've started my new job, and I don't like it. I'm hoping it'll get better though. I'm not used to 3rd shift either. I apologize for not being around lately, and I promise to get all caught up very soon. xoxoxo

Should have guessed this one as its on mint and we thought it looked like a moth , doh !

I bought this dress set expressly for her, but I had never tried it on her until today. The pink "strawberry shortcake" version of this dress is one of my all-time favourite SD dresses, so the "mint chocolate" MSD version was a must-have for me. I have a soft spot for matching MSD/SD outfits.

I was playing with the manual focus when I shot this photo. It's a mint with flowers at its top branch. I don't regret adding some Photoshop effects on my photos.

Bee-Balm Mint,AKA Bergamot Mint,(Monarda fistulosa). There foliage smells like Oregano and they can be used for a cooking spice. Hummingbirds, Bees and Butterflies(and me too) love them
