These moths inhabit chalk and limestone grassland, woodland, marshland and gardens

 

Hiding deep in the shadows the tiny Mint moth (Pyrausta aurata) can be seen flying and feeding in the daytime. April-June and second generation July -mid September.

Flowering mint has quite a tiny flower but lots of them.

Mint is easy to propagate, never used seeds but I will try it if I can get some.
