These moths inhabit chalk and limestone grassland, woodland, marshland and gardens
Hiding deep in the shadows the tiny Mint moth (Pyrausta aurata) can be seen flying and feeding in the daytime. April-June and second generation July -mid September.

Pyrausta aurata ....The tiny Mint Moth is a day and Nightime flier and has two generations seen during the months of Mid April to June and July to Mid September.
The Polo plant can produce up to 22,000 sweets per minute and that is equivalent of over 32 million single Polo sweets per day or 1.37 million packs!................
A few mint leaves are wildly growing in my garden.

I found this cool little Weevil in my Maryland neighborhood. I've never seen one with this pretty mint green coloration before.
Pilot Knob State Park - Iowa
I was very surprised how green certain areas were near the pond. A beautiful combination of sky, autumn colors and green . . . yet!
It's all changing so fast now, and the strong northwest winds haven't helped! Sigh . . .
