This is the corner at the Mint and Amstel. Quite a bustling place that all tourists that visit Amsterdam will get to see. The Munt is from 1620 and was called the Munt, when in 1672 Amsterdam had the sole right to make new coins.
If you follow the long pole, just right of the centre, you'll get to central station, to catch a train to other parts in the Netherlands.
Much nicer in original size offcourse.

Swizzling a Mint Julep according to the book "Meehan's Bartender Manual", 2017.
Recipe:
• 75 ml Bourbon Whiskey
• 15 ml Simple Syrup
• 8 Leaves of Mint
• 4-5 Sprigs of Mint
Execution:
1. Chill the julep cup.
2. Muddle 8 mint leaves with the simple syrup into the cup.
3. Add the bourbon.
4. Fill the cup with crushed ice.
5. Swizzle for 10 seconds.
6. Top with more crushed ice.
7. Garnish with 4-5 sprigs of mint.
8. Put 2 straws into the cup.
I decided to create a mini herb garden in my kitchen, I have started with mint and rosemary and if they survive (that is a big if,) I will add parsley and oragano next.
