try ps miniature effect

Still trying out the fun "miniature effect" (tilt-shift) mode on my new-ish Elph300. Sometimes it seems great in the camera, then when I see them on a bigger screen, not so much. But Baltimore's full of good subject matter, I think I should revisit this spot and try again another time. Sometimes the blurred sides are nice for a selective focal point rather than a "toy" effect, but sometimes it just looks like something went wrong or got smudged. (wider view below)

Another attempt to try get that miniature feel right. harder than it looks!

Looking out toward Remington and beyond, all the tiny rowhouses...if it were a real miniature train garden I think that Dr, Pepper billboard would look perfect - "There's nothing like a Pepper!"
