Mini-Milo is now 8 months old ( we just call him "Mini" now). He's a kind of sad little guy... his brother, Siam, who he loved to pieces, died in August, and he's essentially been left all alone since then (my other cats pick on him for some reason). His mother, Stripe, doesn't pay much attention to him, but he does still have his Daddy, Milo... but Milo likes to roam alot, so he's not home very often to keep Mini company. When Milo does come home, Mini rubs all over him... he really loves his daddy! And he's also got Jinxie... the two of them have become best-buddies, and it's realy cute to se them play together.
I just noticed that the tip of Mini's left ear is missing.... I guess one of my other mean cats did that to him. And I also noticed that his eyes are beginning to turn green, like his Dad's. When Milo was young, he had brownish eyes, but they turned a bright green after he reached 1 yr old... I'm thinking that Mini's eyes will do the same. I wish I had come up with a better name for Mini-Milo, but since it seems that he's going to be the spitting image of his dad, maybe Mini isn't such a bad name afterall.

The mini nuke is rare ammunition in Fallout, for the Fat Man tactical nuclear catapult. This collector's item is a container for each game in the series, and includes room for Fallout 4. It also makes a mini nuke sound.
The Rochdale Division of Greater Manchester Police has bought a kit of 'mini' Police uniforms. They are to be used on the division by the Neighbourhood Policing Teams at all community events, schools and initiatives which involve school aged children.
The officers will engage with the youngsters and encourage them to wear the uniforms whilst passing on age appropriate personal safety advice.
The Initiative will be launched during the Rochdale Division Personal Safety Week of Action, which starts on Sat 4th Oct to Sun 12th October.
The first official use will be at Sandbrook Primary School, Rochdale where PCSO's will let the children dress up and talk to them about what the police do, stranger danger and personal safety.
Superintendent Alistair Mallen said" This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with the younger end of our Community. Personal safety affects us all, we want to encourage young persons to take this matter seriously.
"Through play and engagement the young people learn to trust us, by involving them and gaining their confidence in the early years we can effectively get the message across which will help to prevent them becoming victims of crime."

Mini Cheesecakes
2 - 8 oz pkg cream cheese
½ cup sugar
½ tsp vanilla
2 eggs
2 - 4 oz pkg single serve graham cracker crusts (12 total)
MIX cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add eggs; mix until blended.
POUR into crusts placed on cookie sheet.
BAKE at 350°F for 20 minutes or until centers are almost set. Cool. Refrigerate 2 hours or overnight. Top and garnish as desired.

Kimmie received her package today!! So, TA-DA, here's what is on the other side of her mini qt.
I had SO MUCH fun making this little qt. As most of you probably know, Kimmie loves "The Wizard of Oz", rainbows, and black and white with a bit of red. It was a fun creative challenge to combine them all in this one little quilt. Oh - and the "Circles and Curves" theme, too! :-D

Sagres brand was born in 1940 as a prestige beer, to represent Sociedade Central de Cervejas at the Portuguese World Exhibition inaugurated in May 1940.
Sagres is named after a town of the same name, a small village located in the most south-westerly point of Europe, and where sailors learned all about the navigation science. With a similar fate to the caravels that left from Lisbon to faraway lands, Sagres was the first beer to be exported, arriving first in Gibraltar, and moving on to the Azores and the Overseas Territories of Angola, Cape Verde Islands, Guinea Bissau, Sao Tomé and Principe, Timor, Goa, Macau and Mozambique. Nowadays Sagres beer is present in almost every corners of the world, wherever there is a Portuguese community.
Sagres (5,0% abv): is a pale lager (branca) made of 100% natural product, brewed according to exclusive traditional methods with water, malt, cereals which have not been malted and a rigorous selection of the finest hops. No additives or preservatives are used in its brewing. Moderately rich, it has a dry and pleasantly bitter taste. It is light and has a golden colour. Sagres was the first Portuguese brand to launch the Mini version (20cl), a success among consumers because of it small size and constant freshness.
This just seemed to have been abandoned, so possibly stolen or ended up like this due to a drink / drive incident where the driver scarpered. No idea what it hit, presumably it had been removed before I took these pictures.
