Mini Angelina poses for music and fashion magazine Rolling Troll. I repainted her as my firm intention to sell her, but she is giving me the evil eye even for the thought of letting her go! :-O So I'm really not sure what to do with her. Would she sell well on eBay? My last doll on eBay had 35 watchers, but still no bids four hours before the ending time, so I ended up selling her outside eBay. And I counted that if I deduct the original price I paid to get to the doll from the amount I sold her for, I didn't get any profit and no compensation for my work at all. So maybe my OOAKs are not meant to leave the house. Or maybe I'm just rubbish at marketing. Anyway, I will be taking tons of amazing pictures of Mini Angie and only then decide if she goes or stays. If she stays, I'm going to call her something else than Mini Angie, though, and she will be a fashion model that will end up photographed by Sybil in the story. :-)

Mini World's End is at the Knuckles Mountain range in Sri Lanka. The elevation at this point is 1134m above sea level. The reason this place is called the World's end is because the land ends abruptly with a very steep drop. When there is no mist the view from up here is spectacular but as you can see I wasn't so lucky:-))

this is a mini about where i want to be as a scrapper. i used a maya road book and lot's of ki, hambly & love, elsie.

Mini cupcakes (mini poppers).
These miniature vanilla cupcakes were made for a Bridal Shower, with the colors of Brown & Blue. The minis are topped with chocolate buttercream and sugar Spring flowers and leaves.
Once you pop, you can't stop!
Mini books made from scraps.
I bought the red paper under the name 'leather paper' so I decided to use it as one would use leather.
The book with the blue threads didn't work out so well: The thread is cotton sewing thread and tore through the paper too easily, and the hole centers are 2mm apart. Therefore I had a hard time getting it taut - or rather, therefore I didn't get it as taut as I would wish.
The other tread is regular linen bookbinding thread. That worked better. Although it required a thicker needle.
The books are 3 cm high and 2,5 cm wide. The spines are 1,3 cm (blue) and 1,6 cm (black) wide.

I cut two flowers in white, attached each to line up with edge of flower. This meant that the flower would be a bit wider and extend on the bottom layer just beyond the top flower. I wanted both sides to be reinforced well to stand up to the sliding in and out of the sides. added only half of a flower center to cut down on unnecessary bulk. I think the double flower adds a little 'pop' to the overall mini-book.
