Since high home prices can no longer be overcome by financial innovations in lending, state and local governments are trying their own market manipulations to sustain inflated home prices.

The federal reserve’s zero interest rate policy is fraught with unintended financial consequences. The p... at States struggle to help Millennials screwed by inflated house prices

I put Polaroid frame, because my mom has a lot of Polaroid photos oh herself. Then made my hair kinda up and put bright make up: lipstick and pink blusher on my cheeks. I was wearing leather jacket, because it was kinda fashion trends. I used artificial frontal lighting.

Artificially lit window at the west end of the nave, installed to mark the Millennium in 2000.

St Mary Magdalene's church is one I have visited several times in recent years with work (on one such occasion even causing the death of the camera that took the preceeding photos of nearby Boningale owing to high levels of dust during window re-installation!). My first visit was on an itinerary in 2009, long before I knew I'd be releading any of the windows here.

Externally it is a classic red sandstone Shropshire church, with a sturdy yet picturesque 13th century west tower followed by a clearly Victorian nave and aisles of equal height. The chancel beyond is 14th century (at least the Victorians in their zeal didn't rebuild everything!).

Inside the church is fairly dark but spacious owing to the generous space provided by the rebuilt nave and aisles. In spite of its much restored nature there are older features of interest here such as the late medieval tomb with effigies in the chancel and an unusual 13th century tomb chest with a flat top adorned with heraldic carving (this was at the west end of the north aisle on my first visit and somewhat subsumed by clutter, but has since been moved to a more sympathetic setting at the east end of the south aisle where it can be more fully appreciated).

Albrighton church is normally kept open and welcoming and feels like a friendly, well used place (my subsequent visits have been concerned with work on the chancel windows, all releaded in the last few years by Norgrove Studios),

Destructive Leadership: The Aftermath of the Tempest

A healthy leader–follower relationship relies on trust, respect, competency, and commitment to the organization. A leader has the power to influence and shape the employee’s job experience and the organizational culture. Destructive leaders, however, abuse their power by using coercion to manipulate for personal gain, and employ fear as a motivator. The negative impacts of a leader’s destructive behaviors are detrimental and painful to the followers in an organization, and the long-term impact on corporate culture can be costly. Followers are pivotal to the success of good and bad leaders. In Dr. Martin’s study on the Millennial generation as followers, she found they were adversely affected by destructive leaders. Specifically, they felt devalued, participated in unethical behavior induced by fear, lost faith in the organization because it implicitly condoned leaders’ bad behaviors, or chose to retaliate against these leaders. Destructive leadership will perpetuate until followers and organizations stop enabling the destructive behaviors and take action by educating, training, and empowering the workforce to be active participants.
