I use a fertility microscope as one of my charting tools, and had a hard time finding real photos pf people's results when I was first trying to use it. I use the MaybeMom microscope, but there are many brands. For more information on how it works, see here: www.menstruation.com.au/fertility/ovulitefertilitymicrosc...

I use the microscope as part of my charting at fertilityfriend.com

Through a microscope, a close (close) up view. All I got for "from another world." The world within and in this case 'in close' is one of intricacy, complexity, and beauty. We search for answers and, as usual, have a ways left to go. These little guys help me to be able to ask the questions... and if all goes well, my experiments will work!

These Diatoms belong to the genus Cylindrothecia, species unknown. They are the dominant species component of the yellow mud bottom of the main Weep stream, near Drawbridge, in the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay Wildlife Reserve. Their golden color gives the mud its pale yellow appearance. Magnification 400x. Generally, the dominant species of a community defines it, making the yellow Weep stream bottom the "Cylindorthecia Micro-Community".
