Does anyone remember when kid stuff was like this? It came with sharp metal tools, real glass test tubes, slides and specimen jars, also chemicals and dyes. Who knows how kids survived the 1960's?

One of my favorite things AM has built is this microscope. You can see it at his build...Superdyne..sitting atop another beautiful item of his, the treadle sewing machine.
Light microscope stage, glass slide and cover slip, under the 100x objective lens.
For Macro Mondays theme "Glass".
Almost a 100 years old, a collection of laboratory glass slides with different subjects. Used for training by laboratory analysts.
