The chipKIT™ Uno32 is a prototyping platform that adds the performance of the Microchip® PIC32 microcontroller. It features a USB serial port interface for connection to the IDE and can be powered via USB or an external power supply. To download the IDE, please visit www.chipkit.net/started

The Uno32 board takes advantage of the powerful PIC32MX320F128 microcontroller. This microcontroller features a 32-bit MIPS processor core running at 80 MHz, 128K of flash program memory, and 16K of SRAM data memory.

The Uno32 can be programmed using the Multi-Platform Development Environment (MPIDE). In addition, the Uno32 is fully compatible with the advanced Microchip MPLAB® IDE and the PICKit3 in-system programmer/debugger.

The Universal Development Board (UDB) is a microcontroller development board intended for use with a wide variety of PIC microcontrollers from Microchip®. It was designed to support most 3.3V, PIC microcontrollers in 8-bit, 16-bit, or 32-bit varieties. It will accommodate a wide range of Microchip PIM processor modules as well as DIP packaged parts with pin counts from 8-pin to 28-pin. Three DIP sockets are provided: 20/14/8 PIN 8-bit PIC, 28 PIN 8-bit PIC, and 28-pin PIC24/dsPIC33/PIC32MX. This board also has discrete I/O elements and two Pmod connectors for further device evaluation or product development capability. Expansion connectors are provided that are compatible with the Microchip PICtail™ Plus line of expansion modules. In addition to the PIM connector and DIP sockets, a PIC32MX360 microcontroller is also provided for use without the need for additional PIM or DIP socketed processors.

The CNC router is a large, horizontal milling machine that can cut many types of materials, including plastics, Delrin and other non-ferrous materials. This particular machine handles a full sheet of 4’ x 8’ material and uses a 10-tool changer to pick the right cutter for the job. The primary use of this machine is to build our Parallax DIY solar panel products.

The Digilent I/O Explorer USB is a USB peripheral device that allows programmatic access from a personal computer to various external Input/Output (I/O) devices.

The I/O Explorer provides a number of I/O devices on the board itself, as well as RC servo connectors, and Digilent Pmod connectors that allow access to devices external to the I/O Explorer.

In addition to its use as a dedicated USB peripheral device, the I/O Explorer can also be used as a microcontroller development board. It features two Atmel® AVR microcontrollers, one having USB device capability.
