Big clear bulb best all round
A cracking night's mothing was had in the garden last Tuesday with 12 new for year species added to the year list and all macros as well.
Once again the clear bulb smashing the normal bulb out of the park.
Also, a running trend with my garden is that most new for year species turn up as singletons, this is relected quite strongly in this post .
Micro moths seems to be struggling in my garden this year.
I'll keep this post brief as i'm running out of time once more!

Griffith Observatory is one of my favorite places in LA, this is a micro version of the building only. I've taken liberty to simplify the building a bit in order to make the design work at this scale.

There's a little Eastern Block flavor here I think, except for the trans blue cockpits. But I really liked the way they looked here.
The newest (and smallest!) member of the Pocket Fluff family!
This little one is about 1 inch tall and 1.5 inches wide.
**Please note: she is VERY small. I only recommend this size for adult collectors.**
More experiments with the SIFRNG Macro extension tubes - taken using ring no.3 (30mm) & Tamron 18-250mm lens, they are alot of fun! I am like a child with a new toy! ;o)
Pointsetta leaf, no additional lighting used, taken in natural daylight by the window. Its great being able to get up so close to objects. The Dof is so shallow, but I quite like the effects it creates. Am managing to get about 3 or 4 cm away from the subjects. I need to work out how to change the aperture before I add the tubes as I think for the leaf shots am working with about f/5.6 (apparently there is a trick you can do using the Dof preview to set the aperture before you add the tubes).
Played around with the hues and levels for this one.

Only about 15mm long and possibly one of the clothes moth fraternity, settled on the tiles in the bathroom
