This one almost freaked me out through the viewfinder. I guess it's the shed skin of an aphid (2-3 mm in length).

 

**edit: On second thought this is probarbly not a shed skin but rather the empty carcass of an aphid that has fallen prey to a spider. I've seen shed aphid skins and they look slightly different (for one thing, the legs are not as well preserved). And the fact that this one is kept in place by spider web should have tipped me off right away...

I remeber when i found out that Micro-Machines also produces Star Wars vehicles. My brother and i went crazy in the toystore.

There is a Kane figure from Alien and the guy with the chaingun from Predator. You know, the one that didn't get to the choppa. Oh, and the Botany Bay is also there.

Anyway, I love how closing in on something may give the same effect as zooming extremely far out, like from an aeroplane. This may not be the best example, but defocus your eyes a little, and you might see what I mean.
