Sometimes, a navy wants a rugged, old-fashioned capital ship which dish out punishment and take even more. The newer navies and militaries consider this view quite out of date, and the FG-10 is a successful product of this modern warfare.
SyncTech, a Sweedish-Korean company, produced the vessel for their respective navies, but it has been produced under licence for several other states, and the idea copied by even more.
A true stand-off weapon, the ship is minimally armed for conventional ship-to-ship (STS) and anti-fighter warfare. It's main potency comes from the four cruise missile launchers, able to fire in serial or in sequence, at other ships, at space platforms or planets. Although slow enough to be destroyed by specialised point defence cannons, the FG-10 is able to destroy much without having to get into cannon range at all.
At close-range, the Frigate is no match for a ship as small as the BB-22, but with proper escort and intelligent use, it can be used as an anti-capital ship threat, as well as to destroy space platforms and assault entire planets.

Armament: 4 x fast tracking ion turrets, 2 x Quad STS flak cannon.
2 x dual Sorsvig-class Cruise Missile batteries. Limited ammunition.
Computer: Siemens Y2-modular.
I think this was be the first time I took a photo of just her (Micro Moo/Buttercup) with my DSLR.
I think she was such a cute, sweet little creature, but she died the other day for some unknown reason...I really liked her and I miss her. :,~(

inhabit our homes, clothes and even our bodies. A new book, 'Micro
Monsters', showcases some of the planet's most horrible insects and
microscopic beasts. British author and trained zoologist, Tom Jackson, spent
three months compiling the images in the book. Scientists coated the tiny
creatures in gold, froze them in liquid nitrogen and fired a beam of
electrons at the subjects from a scanning electron microscope to reveal the
incredible detail*

subjects. Electrons have shorter wavelengths than lights waves so smaller
objects can be captured.*

slightly behind set up and a little above. Light fired via nikon cls. Used
sg31r-ir panel to block on board flash. Garlic is sitting on top of bamboo cutting board with a foamcore background.
Manual exposure, no ttl. Processed in Adobe Camera Raw

ESILALEI, TANZANIA - FEBRUARY 2, 2014: Through the creation of solar powered micro-grids, Maasai of the Moduli district in northern Tanzania are receiving power in their mud huts inside their bomas (corralled community). The solar power is providing life-saving water purification, a shared refrigerator for food and medicines, a computer for the community, and lights for the cow and goat corrals to frighten away the hyenas. The International Collaborative for Science, Education and the Environment (ICSEE) also manufactures and distributes a chimney stove for Maasai homes designed collaboratively with Maasai women and installed by teams of women from each participating village to reduce the intake of smoke and carbon dioxide when cooking over traditional fires inside the home. By various keys and records, this should be Nemophila parviflora var. parviflora, but goodness am I having a hard time saying it's the same as this specimen and this specimen that are also keyed and called Nemophila parviflora var. parviflora. Hmmm...
