Architekt zu sein heißt, unterschiedliche Wissensgebiete zu verarbeiten und aus teilweise konträren Ansprüchen ein schlüssiges Projekt zu synthetisieren. Dies gelingt nur, wenn das Studium über das „rein Fachliche“ hinausgeht und ebenso universelles Denken, ökonomische und soziale Kompetenzen, Kreativität und ein Bewusstsein für die gesellschaftliche Relevanz von Architektur schult.
Welche Inhalte müssen dafür in einer fundierten Kernausbildung gelehrt werden? Sollten Fächer obligatorischer Bestandteil der Ausbildung sein, um Architekten zur Konzeption und Realisierung elementare Bauaufgaben – wie beispielsweise das Wohnen –zu befähigen?
Mit welcher Struktur und Methodik kann ein kompetenzorientiertes Studieren gefördert werden, das Interdependenzen zwischen den Fächern vermittelt und zugleich Freiräume für die individuelle Entfaltung eröffnet? Wie ist dabei die Lehre zwischen konzeptionellem Entwerfen und baulicher Realität zu gestalten? Und gibt es eine spezifische Didaktik für die Architekturlehre?
Der Hochschultag der Architektur fragt nach Inhalten und Methodik der Grundlagenausbildung, um Architektur als Einheit aus strukturellem Denken und Kreativität, aus fachlichem Wissen und wissenschaftlicher Methodik, aus sozialer Verantwortung und künstlerischer Tätigkeit zu lehren.
Der Hochschultag des BDA am 10. März 2017, 11 bis 18 Uhr, im Deutschen Architektur Zentrum DAZ in Berlin lädt Studierende, Hochschullehrer, wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiter und Architekten sind zu einem kritischen Dialog über eine zukunftsorientierte Ausbildung herzlich ein.

En 1943, le havre de pêche de Pointe-Basse est un haut lieu de pêche aux harengs et le principal lieu de fumaison de l’archipel. Les fumoirs ayant appartenu à la famille Leslie cessent leurs opérations à la fin des années 1960 alors que ceux de Fabien Arseneau boucaneront jusqu’en 1978, la fermeture ayant été forcée par la diminution des prises de hareng. Entre le début du XXe siècle et le tournant des années 1970, l'archipel compte une quarantaine de bâtiments semblables. L'industrie du hareng fumé alors florissante fournit du travail à des centaines de personnes, hommes et femmes, d'avril à septembre. La reprise de la pêche au hareng dans les années 1990 incite la famille Arseneau à remettre en fonction son fumoir. Connue sous l’appellation Le Fumoir d’Antan, l’entreprise fait partie du regroupement des écomusées du Québec et fait revivre cette activité jadis très importante dans l'économie des Îles. Le complexe de la Pointe-Basse constitue un bon exemple de fumoir à hareng madelinot ayant conservé son authenticité.
Il s'agit des derniers fumoirs subsistant aux îles, puisque les autres boucaneries ont disparu progressivement après la pénurie de hareng, qui survient au début des années 1970. La capture massive de ce poisson à l'aide de bateaux modernes dans les années 1960 provoque une quasi-extinction de l'espèce. Benoit Arseneau, copropriétaire du Fumoir d'Antan, blâme l’industrie de la pêche pour cette décroissance de la biomasse, car le hareng est principalement utilisé comme appât pour la pêche au crabe et au homard.

I just got the new Sony a850 today plus the Sony 100mm f2.8 MACRO lens. I thought I would test them out using the Brenizer method. This is my first one and its definitely not perfect as you can see it got kinda screwed up in the stitching process but its a fun thing to try and it can produce some very cool and unique images . This shot was made up of 50 different images all stitched together.

The same method of folding the 30 Degree Star is applied to a hexagonal shape paper to produce a 6-Pointed Star. I guess this method can be applied to any regular polygon.
The Hexagon is cut out from a 24cm square Duo-coloured Kami.
My first attempt at the Brenizer Method. Used Photoshop to stitch 21 shots that were taken at 50mm f1.4 together. Did some cropping though after stitching. Not sure whether this is a success, I'm getting the feeling there's some distortion on the headstone (top seems to be slanting). Comments and constructive criticism are welcome, I'd like to get the hang of this method.
