The nugget was found by Kevin Hillier on September 16th, 1980 behind the old school in Kingower, central Victoria in Australia.
I didn't include that my keys set it off, too; but my glasses didn't. So it was set higher than a typical federal building (like everywhere I visit in DC), but lower than an airport. I don't think I'm adventurous enough to try bringing Fire Steel through an airport security point, even if it's not explicitly prohibited. I love to play with the security guys, but that's the sort of thing that might get me pulled a little more out of the way than the usual hour-long interrogation I'm used to.

The cleaners had already lined up to tidy up our plane. Here are the last few of them being given a metal detector check before being allowed to board.
BC Place will be open four hours before the Opening and Closing ceremonies to allow time for ticket-holders to pass through these screening tents. Other City venues will open two hours early and mountain venues at Cypress and Whistler, three hours early.
Every Olympic Venue has a series of these security screening tents outside. Before ticketholders can enter the venue they have to pass through airport-style screening, with metal detectors and baggage x-ray machines. Outside food and drink are banned.

Hurricane Sandy was the largest Atlantic hurricane on record, as well as the second costliest Atlantic hurricane, only surpassed by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The eighteenth named storm and tenth hurricane of the 2012 Atlantic hurricane season. Hurricane Sandy devastated portions of the Caribbean, Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern United States in late October 2012. Sandy is estimated in early calculations to have caused damage of at least $20 billion (2012 USD). Preliminary estimates of losses that include business interruption surpass $50 billion (2012 USD), which, if confirmed, would make it the second-costliest Atlantic hurricane in history, behind only Hurricane Katrina.
Sandy developed from a tropical wave in the western Caribbean Sea on October 22, quickly strengthened and was upgraded to Tropical Storm Sandy six hours later. Sandy moved slowly northward toward the Greater Antilles and gradually intensified. On October 24, Sandy became a hurricane, made landfall near Kingston, Jamaica, a few hours later, re-emerged into the Caribbean Sea and strengthened into a Category 2 hurricane. On October 25, Sandy hit Cuba, then weakened to a to Category 1 hurricane. Early on October 26, Sandy moved through the Bahamas. On October 27, Sandy briefly weakened to a tropical storm and then restrengthened to a Category 1 hurricane. Early on October 29, Sandy curved north-northwest and then moved ashore near Atlantic City, New Jersey.
In the United States, Hurricane Sandy affected at least 24 states, from Florida to Maine and west to Michigan and Wisconsin, with particularly severe damage in New Jersey and New York. Its storm surge hit New York City on October 29, flooding streets, tunnels and subway lines and cutting power in and around the city. It is having various political effects in the United States.
The entrance gate of Humayun's tomb in Delhi, one of the prime tourist attractions of the city. The entrance gate is typically chained, and due to increased security, visitors are allowed to go in through smaller gates to the side of this gate as can be seen in the photo, after they pass through metal detectors. Just next to the gate is the ticket counter where entry tickets can be bought. If you look through the gates, the photo shows off a barricaded area where restoration was taking place earlier as well as a structure with a dome in the background. Humayun Tomb is a magnificent red sandstone structure, located in the heart of Delhi. It is the tomb of the second great Mughal emperor, Humayun and was commissioned by his wife, Hamida Banu Begum in 1562 AD. It is a garden tomb, with the central structure of the tomb located in the middle of large gardens.
The tomb is located very close to the Purana Qila, the fort used by the Mughals as their citadel. The tomb has gone through large scale renovation in collaboration with the Aga Khan trust and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage monument.
The tomb, in addition to housing the tomb of the emperor, also houses the graves of his wife Hamida Begum and many others as well (including many later not so famous emperors of the Mughal dynasty) and the famous Dara Shikoh.
