From the spring of 2000, every April the park of the Castle of Pralormo hosts Messer Tulip with the spectacular flowering of thousands of tulips and daffodils.

Now used as student accommodation (and its pretty plush inside - a far cry from when I went to uni!), I think this building used to be one of the RAF messes when Cranfield was an active station. Don't think the disabled parking space is original..
This is Leslie's first attempt at her Dad's spaghetti and meatball recipe (in his crockpot, no less)
I have an old Pentax Spotmatic that I refurbished and have been shooting some with recently. This photo and the handfull of images previous with a similar look were taken with a 5d while holding the physically smaller Asahi 50mm 1.4 in front of the lensless 5d.
I have been toying with the idea for a little while now and you can get some tilt-shift like images out of this as well as wild macro shots and all sorts of strange light leak/ weird exposures because so much light comes through as you shoot depending on how you are holding it in front of the camera.
Anyways, I hope to mess around with this more in the future with more subjects and see how much control I can get over it.
