Just playing with the Fuji XT2
I have shot this before on the Nikon D800, so whilst I was in the area last week I thought id grab a chance to play with the Fuji on low light.
Ive not actually set the Fuji up for low light before and it wasn't that hard to put her into manual mode. i roughly knew what the settings would or should be for the shot. I have read that its tricky to focus in low light as there is no focus scales on the lenses but not tried it yet, guess I should go out in the garden and try!
I'm happy with the outcome, yes if you crop to 100% its not as sharp as the Nikon but its not going to be. I think the Fuji is growing one me slowly :)
Thanks for looking

Pokey loves toys! The problem is, as soon as he gets a new one, his goal is to remove the squeaker and as much stuffing as he can in the shortest amount of time possible. This new green dragon, only lasted 4 minutes 26 seconds. We end up buying new toys for him every time we go out - which isn't so bad, because he loves them so much. I just wish I could teach him to clean up his mess!

Scanned print.
I've done it again...
While the print was fixing I thought it was a good time to do some of the never ending dishes after an analog darkroom session. Ahh, that was nice with some warm water for my frozen fingers.
Ok, time to rinse the print and decrease the water temperature! And that was a big mistake... The warm water still in the hose was enough to melt the gelatin and make the tulips float away in the tray....
So I hereby present the melted gelatin mess as an "abstract" (sorry for the euphemism...).

As the title suggests I was just messing around with an old colour sunset photo on a free software package called 'irfanView'.
I got the idea from this photograph and so tried to replicate it... www.flickr.com/photos/wandavella/32290917482/in/pool-bwfl...
It is a photograph but it is cheating as I used software to create this.....if you like this artwork please leave a comment or FAVE it.
Thank you, Lee.
