"Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up."
Neil Gaiman
There is a lot of mess in this barn and feed lot. But in the midst of the cluttered chaos, a couple of horses and a few cows lend a calmness. Life is like that, lots of messes interrupted by small times of quietness and rest.
The past few days, i´ve been with 39º of fever. Now, recovering from it, i´ve noticed my house is a mess and chaos!
La semana pasada estuve con 39º de fiebre y ahora recuperada me doy cuenta del desorden de mi casa. A limpiar y ordenar!
Some people's first reaction to a mess is clean it up. The first thing I do is leave it. Instead of giving time away to cleaning, I save it and use it to play. You'll gain a lot of years following my advice and you'll most likely annoy a few people.

A ‘mess’ of marine iguanas seem comfortably relaxed on the sharp rocks of Punta Suarez.
(A fact to file away for the pub quiz- a “mess” is the collective noun for a group of iguanas)

I have a cheap little Panasonic point-and-shoot camera that has been converted to infrared. The truth is I hardly use it, more because I tend not to think about it than because I hate the results it produces. So I took it out yesterday in addition to one of my big cameras and it produced a couple of shots that I quite liked. When you process an IR image you usually start out by swapping the red and blue colour channels in Photoshop (not as difficult as it sounds, takes 20 seconds) and then you may or may not convert it to B&W. That was the route I took with this one. I messed around with it in Nik Silver Efex Pro and somehow arrived at this. It’s still a mystery as to what I did to get this grainy mess but the more I looked at it the more it grew on me. Im sure the good citizens of Flickrland will soon convince me of my awful mistake in posting it but they always say “if YOU like it then you should post it”… 😂
When I started messing around with some combos for this figure, it originally had an ops core helmet, then I switched it to the ballistic visor and I was going to make him as a Spetsnaz figure, then I remembered the G36 mod that I had and I saw some GSG9 pics and thought I'd do that instead.
This really isn't supposed to be accurate, as I would have probably reversed the colour scheme and had a black base with green vest etc, but I still like the look of it. Maybe I will make a reverse version and go with some "polizei" decals as well ; )

"Sometimes I lay down in the middle of my messy room and let the mess of my life wash over me. Wave by wave; school, friends… photography, love… myself, oh myself… woosh, a wave crashes and I’m completely drowning and choking in the mess I made of myself."

Still relevant.
In case you were wondering how I'm doing. Busy, messy, ignoring responsibilities and I'm sorry. I'll do them. I swear. I'm just.....
