I devised the idea for this ex post facto. After sorting through all my sunset shots, I realized I could stitch together a number of photos showing the sun setting. Had I realized that ahead of time, I would have taken all those shots with the exact same camera settings. Still, I think this is a fun photo.
Starting from the third panel to the left, notice the famous 'Etruscan vase' shape of the sun as it touches the water. This is a well-known effect of light refraction through multiple layers of atmosphere with different densities and indices of refraction.
When spiral galaxies merge, their black holes form a pair inside the nuclear disk at the center of the greater galaxy that results.

I merged 10 photographs of pure bokeh on this one and post-processed it after. Overall, I love how it came out with all the magical effect it has and the different colors of the bokeh. :D
