Another view of this scene , slightly different angle from previous ones.. This is Langdale in the Lake District.
This time I took the -3 exposure and lifted the shadows (normally I would merge 0 and -3 exposures in HDR program because LX7 has limited dynamic range). Very pleased with the detail in the foreground, which is almost black in the original. But even though it is -3 EV, some highlights are still blown.
Clouds encompass the cables of the Sandia Peak Tramway in the Sandia-Manzano Mountains near Albuquerque, New Mexico.

An oldish photo of the unique lighthouse at Lysekil, on the west coast of Sweden.
The small towns of Graymont (founded 1896) and Summit (founded 1885) merged in the 1920's to form Twin City. This is the old combo city hall/jail house for the town.

I used colorful wrapping paper for folding this fiery dragon, but couldn't decide which side to show. So now you see both sides ;-))

I took the scenic route to work today and was able to grab a few shots of the KCS pair on CSX train Q403 this morning. Here we see the train racing across the Catskill Creek Trestle in Catskill, NY. Kansas City Southern's days are limited, as the railroad is working to merge with Canadian Pacific to connect Mexico, the US, and Canada all together by 1 railway.
