I was fascinated to see the menu card designs at some of the old and heritage restaurants at Park St., Kolkata. This one is the cover of the menu card at Mocambo. www.zomato.com/kolkata/restaurants/central/park-street/mo...

We made these book cover thingies to hold our menu and table number. They also accommodate 4x6 photos.
The menu, signed by the entire kitchen cast and crew: Chefs Matt Blondin, Ben Heaton, Shane Harper and Andrew Wilson.
The take away loot bag filled with sweets made by Harper including peanut butter nougat, cola gum, raspberry gum and a Crunchie® bar.
We (as in PF and I) were very sad to have missed out on this. Very sad.
Boo to us.
I designed this brochure with a casual, homey feel that reflects the deli's food and decor. Fun, readable fonts and wooden sign artwork and tan colored paper creates a menu that is pleasing to the eye and illustrates the deli's home-made food easily to the customer.
The hospital food was about as bad as all the stereotypes. But I ate it anyway (Sue wasn't that hungry. I was.)

1970s menu from Shanghai Garden, which opened in December 1972 at 4469 Connecticut Avenue NW in the Van Ness neighborhood. It was the creation of Shanghai-born Peter Lin, who previously worked at a restaurant in Bethesda. The restaurant was a neighborhood favorite for almost 40 years, finally closing in 2011. The building was torn down in 2014.

Had lunch with my two sisters in this lovely cafe in Titirangi, West Auckland. It had a good revue in our national newspaper so thought we would try it out.

A traditional Moroccan restaurant features not only traditional specialties on the menu but also the very menu made of traditional materials
Here is a look at the Menu at Manuel’s. I am pretty predictable when I eat here.
Either Taco’s. Enchilada’s, or Chimi’s.
Deb is usually more adventurous.
Also I don’t like Guacamole, which they put on just about everything.
But the chips and Salsa are excellent.

I opted to order the Menu della Campagna (the Land Menu) which featured dal Pescatore's best known classics (aka simple, traditional Mantuan cuisine).
The interesting thing to note about the menu at dal Pescatore is that its cover changes every year. The significance is that it is based on a painting that Antonio chooses from the collection that is featured on the restaurant's walls. I found it neat to be able to look around to see all these pieces of art that have inspired some of the beautiful covers (many which are featured on the restaurant's website or on the back cover of the current menu) - it was almost like a built in activity while waiting for subsequent courses.
This year's cover is entitled "Runate" by Giovanni da Busnago (1963); the wine list in the back was also the 1998 cover and a piece by A. Fusco.
