After dinner, we went up the street (6 Avenida Norte) a couple of blocks to this place, which served crepes. We got a couple of dessert crepes. One, pictured elsewhere, the tried and true banana and Nutella crepe. The other was filled with dulce de leche, or caramel. That was divine and would probably rank in the top five of all my meals on this trip.

The original wall mount brackets are a cantilever design.

 

Mortise and through tenon and glue joinery connects the members together.

 

The sign appeared to be sitting lower on one side. Closer inspection of the wall mount brackets revealed a slight separation at the mortise and tenon joint.

Sadly the menu didn't photograph well or else I would have used that instead! The food was very good, certainly the best inside the Parks ..but it's not utterly magnificent (when taking in the exclusivity and prices*).

 

*I would certainly jump at the chance to dine there again tho ;)

Menú degustación, en el "Retaurante del Chorro" de Albarracin.

This dish, listed on the menu as "mimetic almonds," may not look like much, but the whole was definitely greater than the sum of its parts. I don't know what all the almond-shaped bits were (some were surely almonds), but the orange crescent on the left was a pickled peach, and there's some grated white stuff on the right that was some kind of tomato. It all came in a light dressing that you can't see, and when you ate it, especially with small pieces of the peach, it was unbelievably tasty. This was another dish I could have eaten 10 of.
