I got some tile and ball chain down. Made a poly clay insert. Still have to make the lettering a little darker to read. Can only do a section at a time because of glue dry time.
Another Memory Box Christmas card. This time I used the Poinsettia Silhouette stamp and some MB Gingercake papers (they were released last year). Added a bit of sparkle with some Candy Cane Stickles applied to the centers of the poinsettias.
This is a card I created for Memory Box using the new Fall papers and two of the new stamps. I used vellum for the leaves. To see complete details on how I made them and to see a close-up photo, please see my post here:

Inside the Victorian cash box were three cash bowls, I removed them and made three new bowls from tissue paper mache.
During the layering process of this bowl I included snippets of mums love letters that I had printed onto cream paper, and a few verses from the prayer book she had been given as a child.
I used blue and gold organza strips to embellish it further and also a corner of an apricot organza scarf on which I had printed the 'Evening Prayer' - which had been bookmarked with a piece of fern from her wedding bouquet.
I placed a few shells inside it, one of which had a snippet from her prayer book and another I put a photograph of her as a young woman. Lastly I sprinkled in a few hand made rose petal beads.
Chocolate "surprise"... A chocolate bar comes out when the ribbon is pulled....

I started with a 6" piece of Memory Box Valise paper and stamped the three bicycles from Hero Arts Three Bicycles in dark brown.
Next I started stamping fun happy summertime sentiments from Hero Arts LIve & Laugh, Anytime Messages, Essential Messages, Huge Hugs ... and the tiny little happy face from All Occasion Messages.

Another entry at Virginia's View challenge and Simon Say Stamp's birthday challenge. Made my own stencil by using some cut up 12x12 lacy card stock and sponged on Distress inks. Colours are much richer IRL. Finished with the sentiment from Hero Arts and a vellum and card stock butterfly from Memory Box.

This card is liked to two different challenges and also the Simon Says Flickr challenge SSSflickrchallenge#76. I have used the Uplifting Thoughts stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. More details on my blog: www.patitudes.blogspot.com/2017/07/spread-kindness.html
I made this card for the Simon Says Challenge, Pearls and Lace. I chose to make a paper lace using a Friskars punch. This paper lace looks very similar to the lace my mom used to sew with when I was young, it is a really simple style. I used pearls to accent the flower vine. I was trying to create a simple, clean looking card. It looks better in person than in the photo.
