This lovely pure white fragrant bloom of winter before the true springtime flowers is a constant reminder that it was blooming when we found out my mom had breast cancer and it was blooming when I lost her. So it is a very special flower to me and one that brings back memories of those dark days and yet also a precious reminder of the beautiful place she now dwells in perfect peace and health once more.
Kaeley Holtke, 4, and her mother Tiffany Holtke share a quite moment at one of the shrines erected at Point Hueneme on Silver Strand beach. The two brought flowers to the memorial built near the site of where Alaska Airlines Flight 261 crashed into the Pacific Ocean near the Channel Islands, about 10 miles from shore.

Today I sewed a few name tapes onto Megan's new school uniform - she doesn't start until September but there's no harm in being organised eh?!
One of my clearest early memories is my mum doing this for me before I started school - Very sad that she's not around to have met Megan and seen her off to school.

We went to the Alzheimer's Memory Walk with Daisy & Houston. There were watering stations and bandanas for all the dogs!
I helped Patricia piece this memory quilt for Clint's daughter, Chelsey. It is going to be a Christmas present.

My mum pass me 2 rolls and 10 pictures of film. I noted all the memories I gone is recovered from this 82 pictures. Thanks for the technologies that allow us to keep our memories well :D
