Dirt road off of Montana State Hwy 24 near the old Glasgow A.F.B. front gate. The base was closed in June of 1968 and is now called Saint Marie. I learned to drive a car on this road. The road leads to a fishing pond where I spent many afternoons with my dad. The car was a 1966 Chevy Malibu. Seems like only yesterday.

That sweet smell of wood!

Campana, Corazón a Contraluz.

Sin embargo, si bien es innegable la ‘presentez’ de una presencia, la ‘lucentez’ de la luz, la silenciosidad del silencio, la cayentura (¿o cayeteza?) de la caída o la rugidez (o rugididad) del rugido;

A contraluz.

You might find this photo .. so simple and not even worth to view.. But it means a lot to me and its talk about precious memories of mine .. just wanna share :)

This song really gets me :)

Moments of happiness will

they ever come back?

Embraced by darkness now that you are gone

Leaving me, why can't you see

I'm standing in the rain

Calling out your name

In my memories I see you smile

The road to the future was in tour eyes

I can see you like I used to do

In my memories of you

Searching thrum my soul

there is nothing inside

Every day time takes its toll

It hurts me so when you say you must go

The love we shared is not coming back

I saw the light in your eyes

Shining down on me

I saw the light in your eyes

Shining on me

This is the third lake in the Maksimir park, Zagreb, Croatia. There is five lakes in Maksimir, but this one, the third lake, is the lake where I spent much of my childhood. That lake reminds me of many happy memories that I experienced there.

Thanks for watching!

2012, you are beginning to get small in my rearview mirror. I will cherish the happy memories and hope the bad ones fade away.

Each new year brings new hope. Welcome, 2013!

CNW GP30 815 is headed eastbound toward Norfolk at Tilden, NE on September 15, 1988. This scene is almost unrecognizable as the railroad was abandoned in 1992 and is now a trail and much of the related infrastructure gone.

This same train appeared on the back cover of "The High, Dry and Dusty: Memories of the Cowboy Line" as the other photographer on this day was on the other side of the tracks. Brian Walker photo.

I remember so many hours I spent trying over and over to learn the music that I so loved....

There is a sad story behind this one, Ben and Jamie were best pals that were killed in a road traffic accident in to 2005. LUFC is Leeds United Football Club.

On an isolated gravel road, the occasional car probably passes this scene by without the people in it giving a second glance. But an old farm veteran quickly spots a trio of items he recognizes from years ago, an old pickup, a glimpse of a red outbuilding in the back corner and a tree that used to welcome visitors turning into the short land but now cut down. As we age, the path of our memories are strewn with reminders that mean little to those who are younger.

With Paper Painterly Flypaper textures.

(forgot about blues this week :-) )

These flowers of the plantain grasses always brings back memories of childhood summers - picking them whilst sitting on the grassy field at school at playtime. We would then bend the stalks around the base of the flower and shoot the heads at our friends. Some people see them just as boring weeds - I find them strangely beautiful.
