When I’m supporting someone and they don’t get the outcome they wanted at the end, I feel its because I have failed them. That is the only downside of working in a team for me. When we don’t exceed, I feel I could have done something different and I’ve ‘cursed’ the project. Irrational, maybe. Tough day, yes. Perspective, whose got some?

This was shot with a little wooden pinhole camera on medium format film. Exposure time was approximately 5 seconds.

This spot had to be the most beautiful thing Ive ever seen. It was incredible. If you walk like 50 feet out farther towards the ocean you can see the Bixby Bridge between these rocks. Unfortunately, my picture of that was badly underexposed.

Note: D-ABBI (2) was Boeing 737-86J(WL) c/n 32920 / 1293 flying for Air Berlin from March 2003 to March 2012.

19793/519. It had a cargo door and was used in quick-change configuration doing passenger services during the day and cargo services at night. New to Lufthansa as D-ABBI in 1968. To Pluna as CX-BKA in 1978, CAM Air International as N4555W in 1983, Flying Tiger Line in 1984 and Jet East as N725JE in 1985. To Evergreen International as N748EV then to DHL Worldwide Courier in 1989. Reregistered as N702DH in 1990. Withdrawn from use at Kingman, AZ in 2001. Still there in 2011. Later scrapped.
