Animals lives are very difficult. Sadly we humans have made their lives even more difficult. That is why it is important to always help wildlife when we can. We have done so much damage, why not do some kindness as well. This is Butterscotch who I medicated and cured from mange. I dedicate this photo to all the millions of animals who died in the fires in Australia, and also to all the humans who stepped in and helped do what they could.
The last couple of days were cold and dull here in East-Westphalia, I enjoyed hiking outside but rarely used the camera. Tonight I decided t medicate my Winter blues with a colour therapy including Summer shots. Blavand, Jylland, Denmark.

War is not about winning and losing it produces violence and fear for everyone concerned. War creates mass destruction, has long-lasting effects on a country's economy. It leaves people countryless, homeless nomads unable to feed, clothe or medicate themselves. Needless to say, it physically hurts and kills hundreds. Today warfare is cowardly in that fighting has changed to the more dangerous use of chemical warfare, the H-bomb, nuclear possibility, and cyber warfare. We have so many refugees in this world already that we do not take care of, adding to this number will only make things worse.
Peace, on the other hand, gives us a chance to live in our world without friction, work together, enables us to take care of our families and loved ones, improve our communication throughout the world and the ability to improve our lifestyles, share freedom, fun, and opportunity together.

Kaboodle the fox was born in March 2014. In June of 2014 Kaboodle and his brother Bright Eyes both became badly infected with mange. Part of their territory had been completely bulldozed and stress is a big cause in the outbreak of mange. I manged to medicate both Kaboodle and his brother, and they were completely cured by the end of July 2014. This is Kaboodle in August 2014 after recovering. Last spring 2016, TWO YEARS after he was cured a fox completely covered in mange came right up to me. Because the mange was so severe I could not recognize who the fox was but he seemed to know I could help him, and I did. When he started to recover, the beautiful face of Kaboodle emerged! He once again was cured. Where ever you are now dear Kaboodle, I hope you are well! <3
...sometimes I wonder if I should be medicated
No microchip, no collar or name tag, thin, light as a feather, pure breed wire-haired dachshund, found by my kids in the mountains three days ago, the same forest they found Manivela (Crank) in 2019. Went to the vet yesterday, and he said his age is perhaps 2 yo, and all the health tests are excellent, made a neutering appointment for July. A sweetie! He is now our nb.19 and still looking for a name.
For sure, he is also one of the toys that rich people buy for themselves or their children and soon get bored.
We did not realize how old our Snoopy look (she is 12 now) until we saw them together.
Latest news about Sparrow - she grew a bit and stronger, and soon, when she will be able to eat alone only, she will be transferred to a bigger aviary, to learn how to fly properly. There is a long way to freedom but she is on the right way, I am so happy!
