(and yes the title was inspired by the lovely dolly ;-)

Maybe it is seaweed salad before the fish entree. The mate will be pretty angry if this bird returns thinking this is dinner.

I finally got a photo of an osprey dropping in for the kill and it was after a pile of seaweed. It picked it up and flew out of sight. I assume it was nesting material.

A grim discovery on our hike in remote parts of Dartmoor last Sunday. The bones most likely belonged to a cow (or maybe a Dartmoor pony? Not too sure).

Two old friends meet again

Wearin' older faces

And talk about the places they've been

She's smiling like she used to smile way back then

She's feeling like she used to feel way back when

They tried, but something kept them

Waiting for this magic moment

Maybe This Time

Two drops from the eyes..

Maybe truth & maybe lies..

Maybe sadness..

Maybe fears..

Or maybe careless silent tears .. !!

A pretty little crab spider anyway!

In Maybe Tomorrow's enigmatic grace,

Embark on journeys through Franco's embrace.

Its gardens bewitch, a sanctuary rare,

Where wanderers delve, lost in its snare.

A haven for solace, yet gatherings bloom,

Romantic hideaways, amid floral perfume.

Whispers of love in the air do abound,

Eternal secrets in the garden's surround.

Prepare for an odyssey, memories entwine,

Each moment a canvas, passions divine.

In Maybe Tomorrow, where dreams take flight,

Beauty and passion, forever alight.

This is a vantage point from the opposite bank of the river from an earlier shot. Not sure about this one but thought i would load it anyyway.

This little mason bee is busy sealing up her egg chambers to protect them from the outside world for many months to come. Maybe we all feel a bit like those eggs at present in our various forms of isolation.

I rescued this from the Maybe folder. I shot this at 5.38am on 16 August last year. It was in the Maybe folder because despite the nice sunrise in the background, I wished I’d taken more care with the composition. I remember being in a rush to get to the next field where I wanted to get some shots of the wheat in the first rays of sun. I got those shots and was happy with them- at the expense of my treasured Cow Parsley!!

Happy Umbellifer Wednesday :))

Maybe the same bird I photographed yesterday, or not, but always a beautiful sight to see no matter what.

Details, on deviantART.

Maybe the horses will receive some rain to cool off with.

Or maybe a detail of a Pratt and Whitney J58 Turbojet. The J58 was the first jet system designed to operate at speeds in excess of Mach 3 for extended periods of time and is the powerplant for the SR-71 Blackbird. Hill Air Force Base, Utah.

Might as well live in a grand house, I honestly forgot whether this was taken in Bath or elsewhere. Any help appreciated.
