such a handsome boy

We went to Vallecito Lake last week, and it is still frozen over. Max looked and looked, staring out at what he knew should be a body of water! Sure wish I knew what was going through his mind!

Max Verstappen, first ever Dutch Formule 1 driver winning a grand prix (Barcelona 2016). He is 18 years old. This shot is from last years Gamma Racing Day at Assen (2015).

As I was waiting in my car for somebody, Max was looking out the window and I thought it would make for an interested photograph.

Two or three times a month, Max will go to the back door and headbutt it, whilst giving a plaintive meow! I know what he wants, he wants grass. I put on his harness and immediately the door is opened, he heads for his pot of grass. We call this Caper's grass, as I planted it for a red point Persian we had, (1988-1998). It was used by Blue - a British shorthair - (1999-2012) and Max has continued the tradition.

As soon as he has had his fill, it is a quick dash back to the safety of indoors.

(He is not an outdoor cat, and only goes out on his harness.)

Jane and I decided to take little Max out for a walk. Our intention was to explore the Ardrossan harbour area and allow Max's mum to get on with some packing ( the family were flying out to see their dad the next day ) One look at his little face let us know it was just abit too cold :-)

O Max é o meu quarto Blytho.
