I'd had an Amazon delivery and the box was on the floor by my feet. Max decided to investigate, so I picked up the camera.
First he took out the packing paper, pushed the box upright, went round and round - head first, bottom first, tail in, tail out, until at last he sat up tall and proud!
"I did it!!" lol
I was pretty close to the max line to get this one and I think it pissed off the driver. 5 minutes later some Tri-met guy came over and asked me what I was doing. It was pretty obvious what I was doing (tripod, etc.). He then told me that they don't allow picture taking. I can understand that I was a little close, but I think he was making up his own laws here... I moved back right away but he insisted that I leave or he was going to call the police.

Max was a rescued dog and comes from an abusive background. He has recovered nicely and although our first encounter was a little sketchy he quickly came around.
A test portrait of my dog Max using the newly acquired vintage lens (Meyer Optik Gorlitz 50mm 1.8) - amazing quality for only a few pounds. Anyone experimenting I recommend these m42 mount lenses using a cheap m42 mount adaptor.

Hey guys! In case you didn't know, I'm a massive Mad Max fan, and I realized just yesterday that I don't have a single Mad Max related photo on my stream, so I figured that I should make some figures from my favorite film in the series: The Road Warrior. Most of the figures didn't really have names in the film, save the Feral Kid, The Gyro Captain, and of course Max Rackantansky himself. The others were in the film of course, only were never given a name/title so I'm not really sure what to refer to them as. By the way, note that these may not be extremlly accuarte becuase I haven't seen the movie in a little while now. Anyway, I had a blast making these, since apocalypse characters are my specialty when it comes to making figures. I'm planning on making the rosters for the others films as well, so be on the look out for that. I'd also love to know if you are a Mad Max fan, and if so, what is your favorite film out of the four? Hope you enjoy guys! :) -Michael

So today is a terrible day, we had to say goodbye to my wonderful Max. I cannot begin to express how heartbroken I am. We climbed mountains together and had adventure after adventure. Love you son. xxxxxxxx

I took the new "Portrait" lens out with us this morning on a walk with Max. Just need to take this beauty out a little bit more to get use to its set up. The Pentax 70mm - 200mm "Star" lens is credited as one of Pentax finest for portraits and landscapes and attached to the new K1 mkII seems to do the job nicely!
Max has been my yard guy for over 30 years and he was at the house trying to get my sprinkler system to work right... He treats me like family and even does a few extras on the week ends if I need them ... Happy Truck Thursday, Everybody!!
Max came over for a coffee this afternoon and sat down in the kitchen while I photographed some blueberries . . . and then I turned round - thank you, Max for letting me take photos . . .
