The Dockland is an office building on the Elbe near the former England ferry pier and current cruise terminal in Hamburg's Altona-Altstadt (Van-der-Smissen-Straße 9). The six-story building has a striking cross-section in the form of a parallelogram and protrudes above the water like a bow of a ship.
The property between the fishing port and the Elbe was filled up at the end of 2002. The building was completed in 2005 and inaugurated on January 31, 2006.
The design for Dockland comes from the Hamburg office BRT Architects Bothe Richter Teherani. A special feature of the building are the diagonal passenger lifts.
The almost 500 square meter roof terrace offers a good view of the port of Hamburg and the northern bank of the Elbe; it is open to the public via one of the two open staircases; However, representatives of the press require a filming permit.
The height of the building is 25 meters, 136 steps lead up to the platform.
The side surface is a parallelogram with a length of 134 meters and a height of 25 meters. The building is 21 meters wide
The building is currently used by the Nordakademie Graduate School, among others.

I was asked to take an environmental portrait session of a university founded PHD graduation project, in which he studied different growing methods for hemp. No worries, the pictured hemp contains only a very small amount of THC. Nonetheless, this amount was enough to made my head spin after 3 hours photographing. =D

...through the mountains to the clouds that the peaks touch. Stick close and try and keep up. Feeling weak, just breathe, take a second think about a place you love, release the tension.

Yesterday, I took out my new DJI for a test flight. I previously scouted the location during my race bike training. It's probably the largest and most beautiful vineyard in the area.
This shot is an HDR taken directly into the sun light, which was blocked and softened through autumnal fog. The photo was taken in Weinstadt, Germany.

An architectural series of an anthroposophic building in Dornach, Switzerland.
The Goetheanum is the world center for the anthroposophical movement.
The building was designed by Rudolf Steiner and named after Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. It includes two performance halls (1500 seats), gallery and lecture spaces, a library, a bookstore, and administrative spaces for the Anthroposophical Society; neighboring buildings house the society's research and educational facilities. Conferences focusing on themes of general interest or directed toward teachers, farmers, doctors, therapists, and other professionals are held at the center throughout the year.
Both the present Goetheanum building and its precursor have been widely cited as masterpieces of modern architecture.
Steiner's architecture is characterized by a liberation from traditional architectural constraints, especially through the departure from the right-angle as a basis for the building plan. For the first Goetheanum he achieved this in wood by employing boat builders to construct its rounded forms; for the second Goetheanum by using concrete to achieve sculptural shapes on an architectural scale. The use of concrete to achieve organically expressive forms was an innovation for the times; in both buildings, Steiner sought to create forms that were spiritually expressive.

Although it is one of the later completed buildings in the Düsseldorf port, the new customs yard (Gehry buildings) with its extroverted design is a highly symbolic building for the structural transition from the old customs port to the media harbour.
Located on the northern edge of the harbor, the building ensemble, designed by the famous American architect Frank O. Gehry, acts as a link to the city.
The building volume is divided into three sculptural structures that form a trinity in their expressive form, but differ greatly in their execution.
