Using 2x3s instead of 1x6s gives it a whole different character. The rhombi become less apparent, while the pentagons and triangles of its dual become more prominent.

if someone had told me as a kid that i would need math for this one purpose, i might have tried harder to like it
Lindsay and I just spent nearly 2 hours figuring out who owed who what on our Burning Man costs. It was like a fun logic game... and neither of us passed Math 12 back in the day, so it took some doing. But we did it! Yay and hurray!
ADDED LATER: it was brought to my attention that i am off on my 365 project by ten whole days. and this math did not work in my favor. i have to now add ten. i haven't got a CLUE how i managed to do this. i post every single day. i must have really blanked on some days. CRAP!!!!!
so, to amend this, i'm on day 290. you poor people get ten more days of me than i thought.
me and numbers. not a happy relationship. this, among many other reasons, is why i became and actor and not a mathmetician...
long, exasperated sigh...
EARLIER TODAY:
i had hoped to come up with a better SP for day 300 but alas, no inspiration came.
i've noticed a pattern with this project. whenever i get inspired to take photos of other things, my self portraits kind of fall apart.
i stopped fretting over it a while ago, but i do still have the urge to say, "just ignore my SP's and look at the nature shots. i had a much better time with those."
my internet connection is better today, but still painfully slow. hoping that rights itself soon.
and i hope my selfies follow suit. ;)
happy weekending, flicks!
song of the day: slip slidin' away, by paul simon
I chose this picture because it's focusing on only that page. I took this picture in my room. The inspiration of this picture was to take a picture of something I'm learning in Math. The trick I used was I took it from a low point of view so it can make it look better. I chose this picture becasue it had some blurred out spots.
