/(11/15/08): I don't know why my high school math teacher had a problem understanding the steps I took to get the solution right XD Okay, some crossed numbers here-and-there, not using rulers etc.. but it ain't that bad!
Maybe the problem wasn't worded correctly? Maybe my Sprite is just too creative for math tests?
This is from a Math Mammoth placement test.
Overall silhouette is taking shape. Spent most of the day roughing out the octagonal center which will house the reactor, running math on the spacing of the decks and trial spacing of the docking rings for the modules.
I think minifig scale should have interiors and lots of play features so I'm going to try to use upside down bricks for the structure and have each deck/level slide in from the back.
Hey dudes I am still around and still drawing. Life has been a bit complicated and busy but i am trying to get back into putting things on the internet for you to see and hopefully like.
Okay, how many of you remember your math days when you had to use a device like this? The protractor was standard issue as a Weapon of Math Instruction. (Okay, I heard you groan.)
But you remember the math jokes, too, don't you? Like what did the acorn say when it grew up? Answer: Gee, I'm a tree--Geometry. (Okay, I heard you groan again.)
What were your favorite Math jokes?
