nikonshmikon took this closeup shot with my Nikkor 85mm f/1.4D the other night after we spent the day shooting a wedding. I think he did a great job focusing here considering the razor think DOF.
A Great Dane was heading for the German Shepherd, that was concentrating on his owners return, when the Dane was distracted by a friendly pat on the head. Nobody seemed to notice what could have been a violent confrontation. A peaceful ending.
Hopefully everyone remembers Mastermind. This is not the regular sized Mastermind, rather a pocket sized. I took this with my 50mm f/1.8 lens at f/4.0. Even at that f stop I really like the DOF. I am in love this lens.
This is the final image for the month of January. I am proud of my self that I successfully completed 31 days of the 365 project. So far I am doing fine. Wish me luck so that I can keep going especially now that classes has started and I will be getting busier than ever.
