Taken at a boathouse along the Crooked River inland waterway in Alanson, Michigan.
I wouldn't think this is an overly secure way to protect a valuable boat. It was on the door to one of the slips in an old building that has been there since I first visited the area over some 60 years ago. Some of the other nearby boathouses were in similarly poor looking condition and have more recently been removed.
Spotted this whilst wandering the back streets of Southampton, wasn't sure if it was a actually a house with 14 flats or an advert for the lock company!
Well, so much for damn commercials. Larry the Lock discovered high speed projectiles do cause severe damage!

"The Masterpiece" Chris Masters looks concerned for The Undertaker's welfare as he contemplates finishing off the Dead Man with the unbreakable Master Lock at a WWE SmackDown house show in Newcastle upon Tyne, 15 Oct 2007.
This lock isn't keeping anyone out if they really wanna get over the 4 foot fence with cheap bamboo covering hahah xD
Nonetheless a nice shot in my opinion :D

We're Here • "Room 101"
Group Description
Those who are acquainted with George Orwell's novel 1984, or the BBC television program of the same name, will guess what this is about. For the others, Room 101 is a group where you can put pictures of things that really you would rather didn't exist at all. Your least favourite wedding present (you know the one, Aunt Rose gave you it, you hide it at the back of the cupboard); that truly awful looking building; a mis-spelled or badly written sign. Use you imagination. Only one item per day, and nothing that you wouldn't want Aunt Rose to see.
I don't think everything will be in b&w this month...but so far the color did nothing for the photos so I desaturated.
This is the ramp up to the movie/food court at Tyson's Corner Mall. It's a blue steel color and it was slightly overcast this afternoon -- plus I thought the texture came out better in b & w.
Only one person is privileged to the mysteries that lay beyond this crudely-marked unlocked door. That person: employee.

A message to City residents,
Welcome to 2021! Who would have thought that we would still be struggling with the effects of the COVID-19 virus. Our daily lives continue to be interrupted and our small businesses, especially restaurants and bars, are suffering economically.
On behalf of the City Council, I would like to continue to encourage taking appropriate precautions and following the guidelines set by the health department. Wear your mask when necessary, avoid crowds and wash your hands often. Vaccines are available for those persons that are eligible.
Please support our local businesses during these trying times.
Thank you for your cooperation and patience!

I've never seen a lock quite like this one.
