The "Flight of the Raptor" falcon and hawk flying demonstration
and show is beauty of flight designed to educate, enlighten and sometimes even amaze their audiences. Many thousands have seen their programs and return year after year to sometimes just visit the birds and enjoy the beauty of the flight.
Flight of the Raptor was officially founded in 1995 by Ray Pena, Master Falconer. His love for birds began when he was just a young boy of 15 keeping homing pigeons in New York City. He became fascinated by the airborne predators that pursued and eventually killed some of his charges. He began a lifelong journey that brought him to his mentor, Heinz Meng, a renowned expert on falcons and one of the most influential people in the project to save the peregrine falcon from extinction.
Ray passed his love for these creatures along to his daughter, Jennifer Pena, who after taking her first steps on the flying fields, became a master falconer as well. Sharron Montgomery, a former raptor rehabilitator joined the team in 2010 and is presently an apprentice falconer.
The mission of their programs is to instill wonder into their audiences by helping them to understand the vital importance of these magnificent creatures to our natural world by demonstrating the beauty of free flight and how these birds behave in their natural habitat. The cornerstone of their program is their birds and they have a large cast of both falcons and hawks for their programs. A peek through the fence at Master Travel's Stevenage yard on 23rd February, 2002 revealed DAF SBR2300 Jonckheere Jubilee P99 OJE 533. acquired a few months earlier from Low Fell Travel. This coach had been new to Derek Randall as A48 JLW and rarely settled anywhere for long during its career.
The Savanna Master is a Masterpiece by the legendary engineer Enrico Ferrarini, and a personal project of Damià Mateu, chairman of Hispano-Suiza. Mateu envisioned the car during a journey to the dangerous, unexplored wildlands of Africa. Tales say that in the deepest, most unknow regions of the savanna, he had a vision of a mighty, red haired lion.
How Mateu convinced the elusive, surly Italian genius remains a mystery. Exorbitant quantities of Money? Wondrous artifacts from Africa? Who knows...?
Here is the Master and Commander, the trophy for best naval or maritime build in the Castle theme at Bricks Cascade 2016. It features a ship cutaway showing the captain on the deck looking through his spyglass, and below him his quarters with his desk and charts.
The Master has been in the shadows for many years. All he can do now is live within the darkness or find the final silence.

Looks like the little cobbler making shoes way into the wee hours. Actually, this is my 95 year old dad! Why buy a new heater when you can just fix the old one, one that is only about 50 years old. He was successful! He drew a schematic and went to work. By golly, it works. He likes his bedroom to feel like a 100 degrees!
