I used Marphun's Intensify Pro's Soft HDR filter to pull out the shadows and enhance the clouds.

With a long hike into Knoydart planned it made sense to stay over night at the A' Chuil bothy. Mark is seen here just as we arrived on a cracking evening. Staying overnight didn't just reduce the length of the hike the next day, but it placed us in a position where we could just get up when the sun came up and set off without any of the restrictions of a B&B.
Our hike that next day would take us along the ridge towards the superbly situated and shapely peak of Sgurr na Ciche.
I remember doing this kind of still life before using an apple as a book mark. Thought I would give it another try for this month's challenge. My biggest challenge was not getting the book wet. ;o)))

St Mark's Square in Venice is famed for the Campanile, the Doge's Palace and.... and of course the pigeons. Here a young lady has paid a Euro for a packet of bird seed and found herself flocked by pigeons.
Seen in Redhill, Surrey.

St. Mark's railway station was the first station in Lincoln, opened by the Midland Railway in 1846. It was originally a terminus but the line was extended through the station a few years later to connect with the Great Northern Railway just to the east of that company's Lincoln Central station.
St. Marks was the mainline station, with through services from Cleethorpesto London King's Cross. To avoid unnecessarily operating two stations, British Rail closed St Marks in 1985 with services diverted to the nearby Lincoln Central only a few hundred yards away!
It is now a small shopping centre.
