I'm actually quite surprised at how these two shots turned out. Must have taken about half an hour to get right and irritated the hell out of Luana because her hair kept flying into her eyes lol

Gentleman of leisure walks determinedly into a warm car exhaust-infused summer headwind, past building site perimeter hoardings painted - deliberately or not - in the Mark Rothko style. Bethnal Green Rd. London E.
Finishing Zaamurets inspired a brief WW1 phase and I decided to rebuild my favorite tank of the era, the British-American Mark VIII/Liberty Tank/International. I aimed for a clean look, but it was a pain to shape together regardless.

During the show the audience were asked to make proposals for a peoples manifesto that Mark will then try to become law. One of the proposals last night was the banning of pyjamas in the street. It narrowly missed going through but the what did go through was making the abortions act apply here in Northern Ireland along with an end to segregrated schooling.
So when i bounced in after speaking to Lee Marks agent he was going through the proposals just before going back on. I only had a minute to do this and i hope that i have done him justice.
I spoke to him after his reading and he signed a copy of his book for Maah Boy.

Four field bins just outside of Milang in South Australia. Taken from the side of the road, I liked the spacing and perspective of the shiny bins against the dry fields.
Meant to get this done over Christmas but laziness got in the way so Happy Birthday to no one in particular... or a very belated Merry Christmas LOL!

Mark Haven, a friend and a photographer, has died. He was a charming and talented man, and I will miss him. He taught photography at Rochester Institute of Technology for 25 years, and was a founding member of Soho Photo, the city’s oldest cooperative photo gallery.
Bio: "Dropped out of Law School to become photographer in mid 60's. Studied with Diane Arbus 1971 and Garry Winogrand 1970."

I love this little silver Mark II so much. He was the first of the new 3.75" line that I bought, but I never got around to photographing him until today. I had to beef up the shine and contrast a bit in Photoshop, and I'm quite pleased with the results.
This line is so wonderful - the figs are all so beautifully detailed. Hard to believe he's as small as he is.
