Our bottlebrush shrubs are bursting like crazy in our yard. The bees and hummingbirds love them so we can't get too close. They just remind me of fireworks!

Windmühle Bierde, Petershagen
Spring took a couple of days off but Sunday pleased with beautiful sunshine and moderate temperatures. A good occasion to continue our mill project with four windmills in the Minden area and in Petershagen. The full mill-route is 320 km long and offers 42 mills. So still some more project days ahead.

It was a clear, crisp day on Ediz Hook, a natural sand spit that embraces the harbor of Pt. Angeles, WA. The seagulls were feeling social even though winds were ruffling their feathers.
