But I wonder where were you

when I was at my worst down on my knees

And you said you had my back

so I wonder where were you

When all the roads you took came back to me

So I'm following the map that leads to you

A Map, for a workshop last week. Mapping of oneself as a designer. I kind of decided to do the mapping with emphasis on the playing around with graphic layouting and the form of the map. A lot of glue-stick went in to this one as I did it all by hand on a A2-sheet of paper. It was a nice sunday-fun.

map to the election night rally. Nice design.

At the invitation of Archbishop Anastasios. head of the Orthodox Church in Albania, I was in Albania for several weeks in the winter in 2001 to gather information and do interviews for a book that has since been published by the World Council of Churches: The Resurrection of the Church in Albania. For some chapter from the book, go to: incommunion.org/forest-flier/books/the-resurrection-of-th... .

Used in classrooms to help draw maps. I had loads of these during my schooling in the 80s.

I want to know if these were made in other countries? Finland? Japan? South Africa? Argentina?

Let me know!

August 5, 2009. Our local transit agency, Codiac Transit, won't release a full system map, so I'm making one, which I'll post online and print out. Here is the Google Maps version.

I know - I'm a sap. I'm still new enough to driving that this stuff is still interesting to me.

I took my first motorway journey yesterday - scary to say the least, then after a few minutes (getting into the traffic is the worst bit) very peaceful and relaxing.

The one thing I could never have predicted before learning to drive (at my advanced age!) was that I'd enjoy it so much.

Thanks to the wonderful Lorraine for coming with.

Intricate type map of New York, showing neighbourhoods of Manhattan, Bronx, Queens and Brooklyn. The map can be contemplated as an abstract texture, as a location or as a series of words.

Prints are hand screen-printed on archival printmaking paper. Texture, deckle edge and vibrancy of colours convey an air of heritage while the character comes from slight inconsistencies in the ink levels.
