Let's take a look at the back of the bus, and see where you could have been going had you not missed it!
Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire.
October 2010.
I do not have any info on Hilton but I think the plan was produced in 1759/60 for a book by John Barrow ' Geographical Dictionary'. Bit foggy as under glass.
North East India. The Seven Sister States.
Nagaland. Mon district, Konyak tribe.
Location of the visited villages.
Guide lines drawn to try to overlay some old map onto a printout of horrible low-res TerraServer aerial tiles of the Mission District.
The tiles don't match modern map tile zoom levels and boundaries, by the way.
Google has a neat little application for viewing their maps on your Windows Media enabled mobile phone.
The quality of this photo is a little lacking, and my screen is somewhat better than it appears in this picture, but I'm pleased to say that much of the functionality of the web version of Google Maps is available in the mobile version.
