Another shot of the Hibiscus plant in my garden. I used my 'new to me' Macro lens my Dad picked up for me! I really am loving the lens!!! It is a manual focus lens and I had a bit of a problem adjusting to that at first, but I think I got the hang of it now! I also find that I have to overexpose by at least half a stop in order to get the exposure I am looking for, but, practice makes perfect!!!

It's been a while since I shot with my Nikkor 50mm. Since it doesn't autofocus with the D40, I figured I had better get some practice with it. I may have to use it for runway shooting next week!

Meu irmão chegou de viagem e não tinha visto minha camera ainda, dai fui explicar pra ele o que era Manual Focus, saiu a classica " I want you !"

I've been reading about Zeiss manual focus lenses and wanted go give manual focus a go using my Canon 28mm f/1.8. I like the results!

Manual focus bird in flight. With a 500 mm mirror lens. This is a re post of a photo from last January. Looking forward for things to come.

Another set of pictures I found in a folder, and I have no idea why they are there - I've long forgotten, and there's no common theme or time. Some of these images are 20 years old.

I have little idea of which camera or lens, but I would say they are all taken with a classic manual focus lens on a digital camera of some sort.
