not a good combination…
playing with my friend’s new lensbaby + 10x macro attachment with f/4 aperture ring.
things i discovered:
1) i can’t manual focus to save my life
2) no metering function when attached to a nikon d50 (gotta guess & experiment)
3) without attachments, the focal length is about 50mm
4) with the 10x macro attachment, minimum focus distance equals almost touching
5) i couldn’t figure out if it’s possible to move the “sweet spot” around the composition. seems to remain pretty dead center
6) needed the cory lum pen light illumination technique for this composition

they look like this early in the morning... water droplets at the tip of almost every blade of wheatgrass...perfect orbs of water hanging horizontally it makes me wonder why they don't drop. really pretty and fairylike...
Testing the Nikon AF 50mm f/1.8 D with Nikon D3100. The lens has no internal AF motor so no autofocus with this camera. I think sometimes better results can be achieved with careful manual focusing (this is far from easy.)
Manually focus shoot using sigma DG 70-300mm. the best that i could get out of this lens. Sharpest without IS. I must admit this lens needs Tripod and a bit of post process to achieve great results.

Giving the MZ-S's ability to work with older K-Mount lenses a try by trying out five of my favourite lenses from my collection with the MZ-S. They work, not 100% perfect, but they work well enough.
