This is what Ouzo thinks of my Helios lens with manual focus.

I had only a few minutes to test the lens this morning before I had to leave for work, so I took my camera while I walked Ouzo. He was pissed I didn't bring a toy (I mean... off leash and no toy? What a tease I am, right?!) so he kept running and barking his head off and not listening to stay still for a second. I was glad I got a couple of decent action shots, even though not well framed.

I just started giggling a few minutes ago when I saw his tongue sticking out at the bottom of the frame :)

Test image shot at f1.5 with a manual focus Voigtländer 75mm f1.5 lens (Leica mount) on an Olympus E-M10II MicroFourThirds camera. Focused on tweeter of loudspeaker.

We were having lunch at Jay's after spending several hours at Kenmore Camera full of camera company reps showing off their latest wares, and showing us how we could easily spend thousands, which thankfully I don't have to spend right now.

I could've sworn I just bought a new camera last week and here I am thinking about lenses that will be on the shelves next month.

While we were there, the Sony people cleaned the sensor in my A7 and upgraded the firmware - a super deal!

Thank you Sony!!!

3 more shots with the 200mm manual focus lens to show it wasn't a fluke , shot no.4 shows up its superiority over a A/F lens in that its not affected by the background . so far quite pleased with the results

The Pentax-A lens series began in 1983, adding the option for the camera body to set the lens aperture. This allowed Pentax SLRs to offer shutter-priority and program exposure modes.
