Usually, I don't upload two versions of the same picture, but since a few people have ask for it I've decided to do so. In this version, I've shot at a slightly different angle and placed the sun not entirely behind the leaf. Thus, the "leaf-bokeh" is not that beautiful, but I do like that there are some "rays" visible near the sun. Moreover, the greater amount of light introduced some flaring in form of circles which frame the blossom which I quite like. I hope you also like this slightly different version!
I am terrible at manual focus, but perhaps more practice means more keepers. This is f1.7 on a Pentax SMC 50mm lens, handheld. Maybe a sliver of it is in focus, which is all I can expect at 1.7.

It snowed quite a bit last night.
We are watching a stupid movie right now and have been laughing nonstop.
I wonder if we are all that she thought we would be.

20 frame panorama of the Eiger. Taken on the ski slopes, just down from the Kleine Scheidigg railway terminal. A weather front was moving in and it brought lots a nice new snow. Practically a whiteout by the end of the day. Grindelwald can be seen in the lower left corner.

Fall foliage from Wikipedia:
A leaf is usually green because of the presence of a pigment known as chlorophyll, which is inside an organelle called a chloroplast. When abundant in the leaf's cells, as during the growing season, the chlorophyll's green color dominates and masks out the colors of any other pigments that may be present in the leaf.
In late summer, as daylight hours shorten and temperatures cool, the veins that carry fluids into and out of the leaf are gradually closed off as a layer of special cork cells forms at the base of each leaf. As this cork layer develops, water and mineral intake into the leaf is reduced, slowly at first, and then more rapidly. During this time, the chlorophyll begins to decrease and the other colors start to show. Often, the veins are still green after the tissues between them have almost completely changed color.

Giving the MZ-S's ability to work with older K-Mount lenses a try by trying out five of my favourite lenses from my collection with the MZ-S. They work, not 100% perfect, but they work well enough.

Today I took a Super Multi Coated Takumar 135mm 3.5 manual focus lens out with me. It's a nice little lens - or it is when I get the focus correct
Comet NEOWISE as photographed through my open window early this morning (13th July 2020). Taken with a Nikkor ED 500mm f/4 P manual focus lens plus Nikon TC301 2x matched teleconverter giving effective 1000mm focal length. Cable release and mirror-up mode used to minimise motion-blur and of course tripod mounted. As seen over East Yorkshire. Cropped in by about 10% to omit some colour noise artefacts around edge of frame. I have rotated the frame through 90 degrees for a 'landscape' presentation.

I took the Rokinon 85m 1.4 manual focus lens and put it on a kenko extension tube to take a photo of my flowers. Hand held ISO was set to 1000 and set the fstop to 1.4 as I was indoors.
I will thank you in advance for any comment or fave on my image as I may not always have the time to get back.

Image captured through the 1980-era Olympus G.Zuiko 28mm Auto-W f/3.5 lens mounted on the E-M5 II. This lens was salvaged from a scrap bin and suffers from dents, scratches, dust and a grinding focus ring, but it still produces beautiful results.
